Dr Arjun Pai is a Vancouver-based researcher, educator and practitioner of Vedic astrology, with particular specialization in the twenty-seven Nakshatras, the lunar mansions of the Vedic zodiac. He holds a PhD in Computing and Electronic System Design and brings that analytical background to the study and teaching of Jyotiṣa, with an emphasis on structure, timing, patterns and interpretation rather than certainty or guaranteed outcomes.
His work draws on classical Sanskrit sources — including the Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, Sārāvalī and Taittirīya Brāhmaṇa — together with focused research, comparative chart study and teaching since 2008. He has taught and presented internationally, including at BAVA (British Association for Vedic Astrology), the Parashara Conference and the Sedona Vedic Astrology Conference, and consults privately for clients across India, North America, Europe and Asia.
